Students create Wall of Life
In November, students throughout the area will be asked to help with the Community Wall of Life project. Information on this project will be available at the Building Bridges and Contra Costa Newspaper booths at the Health and Safety Expo.
The project is designed to further awareness about health and safety issues throughout the county. All Schools are welcomed to participate.
Students will create posters on the theme "What Health and Safety Means to Me." The finished works will become part of the Community Wall of Life, a concept created by the Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Contra Costa and Building Bridges. It was launched in April 1996 during Violence Prevention Month.
The posters will be hung in participating businesses and public buildings throughout the area.
All posters should be delivered to the Building Bridges office in Walnut Creek by Nov. 30, 1996.
