Display Opportunity for Student's Health and Safety Posters

The Community Wall of Life is looking for artwork to display in buildings throughout Contra Costa County on the subject of Health and Safety. Students can represent their schools by coming to the Contra Costa Newspaper Health and Safety Expo (see back page) and then in the month of November helping their class creat "What Health and Safety Means to Me" posters. The posters should include something about the exhibits at the Expo and what students have learned about health and safety. Further instructions will be available at the Expo at the Building Bridges and Contra Costa Newspaper booths. Posters should be delivered to Building Bridges by November 30, 1996.

"What Health and Safety Means to Me" posters will become part of the Community Wall of Life, a concept created by the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and Building Bridges in April 1996 during Violence Prevention Moth. The goal is for student's art and the way they see things to become part of an ever expanding Community Wall of Life as displays continue to go up in buildings throughout Contra Costa County.
