Retail clerk Sam Begley will cancel stamps being mailed at the Main Walnut Creek Post Office with a Special Postal Cancellation to commemorate the Building Bridges Concerts for Kids on October 24th. The $2.50 cost for this Building Bridges of Peace cancellation will benefit the local schools.
Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors declare October 1996 as "Building Bridges of Peace" month. Today we recognize the outstanding contributions of all the individuals who deliver our packages and mail.
