Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The Contra Costa County Juvenile Justice-Delinquency Prevention Commission and the Health Department’s Violence Prevention Project will promote and sponsor Violence Prevention Month throughout the county during April, 1996.

Press releases and proclamations by city and county governments will emphasize the fact that violence prevention and Increase the Peace activities are going on in communities throughout the county during April.

As a recognized leader in your community with a demonstrated interest in increasing the peace in our community, you are invited to attend a kick-off event to hear about the Central County's campaign, pick up some useful materials and get connected with others in your region.

We have designated Building Bridges as the Regional Coordinator for Central Contra Costa County. Karen E. Lile, Cathy O'Connor or Ted Ross Woizeski will be contacting you regarding the details of this event and how it applies to you and your organization.

We sincerely appreciate your contributions to our County and look forward to the benefits of our continued association during the upcoming months

Sincerely, Cliff Taylor, Chairman
